Your involvement matters to our industry. You are at the center of the Independent Auto Dealers EcoSystem. With your input and direction, we lobby on your behalf, develop programs to aid your success and keep independent dealers a strong force both here in Washington and across the nation. We hope you will choose to be involved.
The future of the independent dealer is in your hands.
Our committees aren't for show. They are made up of quality dealers committed to the health and well being of the industry and our region. Your participation is welcomed!
Board of Directors
According to our ByLaws our board is the governing body of the Association. The board is composed of dealer members who volunteer as chapter presidents. After one year as a chapter president, dealers can run for vice president, secretary or treasurer. After two years as a chapter president, a dealer can run for state president. While board participation does not take an inordinate amount of time, there is still a commitment to a meeting per month and availability to participate on working committees and provide necessary guidance to association staff. Past state presidents become honorary members. As an honorary member, membership dues are waived.
WSIADA offers a wide variety of opportunities to network with other dealers, initiate mentorships, and partner with vendors and sponsors to gain knowledge, expertise, products and services you need to outperform.
Unlike many independent associations, we do not hold a convention. We have in the past, and might in the future. At this point, we have decided the most effective means of providing education, networking and support for our Associate Member Sponsors is through Education Fairs. In 2016, we have an Eastern Washington Fair that will coincide with the DAA Rock & Roll Sales. See the event tab for these amazing events.
Limited Edition Associate Members join with the State Board of Directors at a quarterly meeting that helps to set the tone with new programs and events that support the mission of the association. To provide input to this board, let us know either through your chapter president or by corresponding directly with the association executive director.
