When you become a member of WSIADA, you are also enrolled in NIADA.
LEGISLATIVE & REGULATORY REPRESENTATION - The association maintains a strong profile in Olympia in order to protect its members from laws and regulations that are not in the best interests of their business. WSIADA has an excellent working relationship with the Department of Licensing and intervenes on behalf of its members when circumstances require such actions.
INDUSTRY INFORMATION - It is impossible to make good business decisions in this day and age without having access to sound information about conditions affecting your industry. WSIADA publishes an excellent bimonthly newsletter called THE FRONT ROW to provide its members with facts and figures about what is happening in Washington State. Furthermore, as a member of the National Independent Auto Dealers Association, you receive the monthly USED CAR DEALER MAGAZINE, an award winning publication covering a wide variety of dealer interests. In addition, the state headquarters serves as a clearinghouse of information and you can call anytime you have a question. In fact, the most utilized membership benefit is the telephone support WSIADA provides to its members.
HEALTH/PROPERTY/CASUALTY/BONDING - WSIADA, through a group of Insurance Agents, is able to provide what we feel are the best prices on the market, which of course varies year to year. We are constantly soliciting agents for better prices from their companies. We also have a group insurance plan with Group Health of Washington and a special plan for GROUPS through the National Independent Auto Dealers Association. WSIADA also sells $30,000. Motor Vehicle Dealer Bonds to those members with good credit for only $220.00 per year.
BUSINESS FORMS AND SUPPLIES - The association has always been a leader in providing it members with updated forms as the regulations change. We also supply everything a car dealer needs to conduct a proper business, and dress up his/her lot. Through large group purchases we are able to keep our prices competitive. We have forms desks at South Seattle Auto Auction, Adesa Seattle and Dealers Auto Auction Northwest. Our headquarters is in Seattle, which is a convenient location for quick ONE DAY United Parcel Service. "ONE DAY DELIVERY IS OUR MOTTO." Members enjoy paying 10% less on all purchases made through the association office.
THE CONFIDENCE OF BELONGING - Last, but certainly not least, of the benefits available to you from WSIADA membership is the security of being part of an alliance of professional dealers, dedicated to making sure the business which provides your livelihood stays strong and healthy. You automatically become a member of the National Independent Auto Dealers Association, which represents you in Washington, D.C. at the national level of politics.
