With the end of the legislative session today, the defeat of House Bill 1184 and Senate Bill 5610 (Used motor vehicles express warranties act) has been achieved for independent auto dealers.

The support and commitment to providing legislators with information on how damaging this bill could have been to auto dealers in Washington were incredible.

The WSIADA would like to thank all the dealerships and their staff who stepped up in support of the opposition to this bill. However, there is a chance these bills may return next session and the Association will update members if that should occur.
