OSHA Injury and Illness Recordkeeping effective 2/1/2020

OSHA logo 620x264OSHA will be requiring any business to maintain active injury and Illness recordkeeping for safety.

All businesses with 10 employees or more will be required to properly complete the OSHA Form 300A in January and posting it from February 1st to April 30th in an ongoing commitment to compliance with OSHA regulations on a weekly basis.

When visited by an OSHA inspector, they will be looking for OSHA Form 300A being posted in compliance with this program, in addition to the following forms.

  • OSHA Form 301 "Injury and Illness Incident Report"
  • OSHA Form 300 "Log of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses"
  • OSHA Form 300A "Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses"

Increased penalties have become effective as of January 15, 2020. Failure to Abate violation, for example, is $13,494 per day in penalties.

We have provided the link below to allow dealerships and business to locate the proper form 300, 300A and 301 that will be required.
