Chapters were created to make it easier for dealers to participate in events throughout the year by being closer to home, but still providing the association essential regional input for representation on statewide issues with our partners in Olympia.
Chapter meetings are a great way to:
- Network. Whether you are meeting someone for the first time or getting reacquainted with an old friend in the business, Chapter meetings provide opportunities to share ideas and experiences with industry colleagues in your area. Chapter meetings are not limited to members only, so you have an opportunity to broaden your horizons or to bring a friend.
- Brush up on skills and learn new ones. One of the keys to being successful as an automobile dealer is to continuously learn new approaches and the best practices of our industry. Chapter meetings provide convenient opportunities for sharing knowledge, successes and even failures. The local flavor of each chapter meeting makes them especially relevant and valuable for all attendees.
- Maintain Continuing Education Credit. While you are acquiring new skills or brushing up on old ones, you will accumulate 2.5 hours of continuing education for each chapter meeting you attend. That’s right, attend two chapter meetings and you have satisfied the annual continuing education requirement. For members, we will also track and report your credits to the state.
