The WSIADA provides prospective individuals with the knowledge and training to become an independent auto dealership in Washington State.

This 8-hour live course breaks down all the necessary information to create a proper business and operate daily according to State and Federal requirements.

This course is a requirement to complete each application process for a dealership creation.

2026 Legislation

Legislation session begins January 12, 2026

Active members of the Association will receive regular updates on potential changes to regulations that can affect the auto-industry, if at all, and rally the membership to speak with Legislators when necessary to protect the industry.

The first full year under new leadership will bring curious changes to the business landscape.

Spring Chapter Meeting

Beginning in March 2026

The Washington State Independent Auto Dealers Association will host the 2026 Spring Chapter Meetings beginning in March for each of our dealership regions in the state. 

Each regional Chapter Meeting is a local event for dealership staff members to meet others in their area, learn from updates concerning the independent auto industry, and receive educational value from their attendance. Meetings are open to all dealer members and non-members alike.

Optional Education Credits are available for attendance.

Annual Convention 2026

August 6, 2026

Dealerships throughout Washington will want to mark their calendars for the Annual Convention hosted by the Washington State Independent Auto Dealers Association.

This is an all-day event with many guest speakers, multiple industry affiliates to meet with, discuss with peers in the auto industry, and more. Plus your dealership can earn annual renewal credits toward the business for attending.

The Convention will take place at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Seattle, Washington.

Registration will open by March for dealerships interested in attending.
