The DOL will be rejecting new access applications to Contracted Plate Search (formerly IVIPS) until roughly November.

"We are not accepting new applications for the service," a DOL official told WSIADA. "We are in the process of reviewing our policies related to releasing vehicle owner information to ensure they match all applicable public disclosure laws."

Writing on July 29, the official added, "If they are still interested in signing up for an account, they can submit a new application in three (3) months."
