Education Fair West

The WSIADA hosted the 2023 Education Fair West in Seattle Washington at the Doubletree Hilton Hotel.
The Education Fair provided several presentations from speakers including the Department of Revenue, Department of Licensing, Washington State Attorney General Office, Federal Trade Commission, Automotive Remarketing Concepts, GWC Warranty, WSIADA, Washington Association for Vehicle Subagents (WAVS), and Shepard & Shepard Insurance.
Fall Chapter Meeting
November through December 2023
The WSIADA will be hosting the 2023 Chapter Meetings beginning in November for each region.
Each regional Chapter Meeting is a local event for dealership staff to meet other dealers, and learn from updates concerning the independent auto industry. Meetings are open to attend by dealer members and non-members alike.
Education Credits are available for attendance.
Education Fair East

The WSIADA hosted 2023 Education Fair East in Spokane Washington.
Several presentations included the Federal Trade Commission, the Department of Licensing, the Department of Revenue, the Washington Association for Vehicle Subagents, and Auto Reinsurance Concepts, as well as other speakers.
With 10 Exhibitor booths including MAG Auctions, Shepard & Shepard Insurance, GWC Warranty, Lobel Financial, American Guardian Warranty Services, Manheim Seattle, and more.

Washington State Legislature - HB 1184
Enacting the used motor vehicles express warranties act
The bill would have a requirement for all dealerships to provide a mandatory warranty for vehicles sold with up to 125,000 miles.
April 24 Update: This bill has been defeated for the 2023 Legislative session.
New Dealer Education - The Association is here to help prospective dealers with navigating with as little stress as possible.

WSIADA was formed in 1953 by a group of auto dealers who wanted to ensure a strong industry. Since then, WSIADA has evolved into an influential coalition of more than 740 independent auto dealers that's directed by a board of elected peers.
